Jazz Key Music was founded in 1997 by musician Frank Perowsky with the goal of presenting fine music in the form of CDs and live performances.

Jazz Key's first productions have been Jazz CDs debuting musicians as leaders of their own projects. These musicians include bassist Chip Jackson, drummer Ben Perowsky baritone saxophonist Roger Rosenberg and drummer Mike Clark to name a few.
